West side of Van Ness between McAllister and Ash (now the site of the War Memorial Building), Panama-Pacific International Exposition (PPIE) petition to bring the Liberty Bell to the PPIE. The 2 mile long scroll was paraded from Van Ness to the Ferry Building and then by ferry and railroad on its way to Philadelphia. Billy Hooper, Official Herald of the PPIE with the horn.
