Laguna & Sutter Jun 29, 1966

View north toward the Kirkland Hotel, 1701 Laguna, on the northwest corner of Laguna and Sutter. Listed as a 'Japanese Hotel' in 1950. also known as the Greta Garbo Home for Wayward Boys and Girls, it made news in 1966 when all tenants were evicted by the health department. Now the site of Christ United Presbyterian Church (built 1975)
