View north on Illinois from wartime streetcar terminal along old rail siding at 19th Street, with new overhead wiring installed in 1945. Wartime revision 16-line streetcar #303. Poster on front advertising 'Theatre de la Mode from Paris' at the de Young Museum, which opened in September, 1946. Service on the line ended shortly after this.
