Presidio Car House Nov 1965

Geary & Presidio, Muni Car repair shop, Shop Supervisor Warren DeMerritt and unknown worker posed in front of repair/maintenance list chalkboard. In late 1947, DeMerritt was one of the Local 6 IBEW activists who lobbied for Muni to choose trolley coaches (rather than motor coaches) for the streetcar lines they had decided to convert.(RL)
