Southern Pacific Bayshore Cutoff construction, future South San Francisco (incorporated 1908) View north toward the south end of Tunnel No. 5 through Sierra Point, San Bruno Mountain. This end of the tunnel was sealed and the portal demolished during the construction of the Bayshore Freeway US101 in the 1950s
