Ferryboat Golden Way circa 1938

Southern Pacific - Golden Gate Ferries ferryboat Golden Way docked in retirement at an unknown location. Passenger ferry Claremont (built 1907) was built by John W. Dickie in Alameda, California, for the Key System. The vessel was rebuilt in 1924 as the auto ferry Golden Way and operated by Golden Gate Ferry Company. Retired in 1937.
