Burlingame Dec 1948

Municipal Railway (Muni) streetcar #1722 on a 40-line fan excursion, stopped along California Drive between Burlingame Avenue and Broadway. The former Market Street railway (MSRy) car was damaged in 1918 and the body totally rebuilt, scrapped in 1949. Rigged for night running with extra light, Peninsular Railway destination sign reads: Saratoga - Los Gatos - San Jose - Mayfield
