PPIE, California Building 1915

Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Except for the festival halls, the mission style California Building was the largest building at the fair, containing exhibitions for all 58 counties. The courtyard recalled the secret garden of Mission Santa Barbara and incorporated trees from the former Harbor View resort whose site it was built upon.
