Cliff House (1908) and Seal rocks from Sutro Heights [The Cliff House has occupied this same site at the entrance to the Golden Gate since 1858 - the present structure was built in 1907 replacing building destroyed by fire. Among the popular places to dine, visitors enjoy a close-up view of seals in their natural habitat on the rocks nearby.] (building was actually built in 1909)
