Palace of Fine Arts circa 1960

[Palace of fine Arts, SF - These picturesque ruins are those of the only surviving building from the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915. Time has left its ravages on this"temporary" building; but its scarred columns and arches still preserve much of the beauty and grace which distinguished the original structure. With its lagoon, fountains and shubbery, it has become a sanctuary for many varieties of water fowl.]
