1906 Earthquake Ruins, View northerly from Larkin, Grove, & City Hall Avenue, the ruined tower of City Hall. [The fifth City Hall 1870-1906 - This ornate structure was 27 years in building and cost $7,000,000. Lacking any steel framework, except for the dome, it became a 30 second ruin on April 18, 1906. The Main Library now occupies the site] (1971, the main library mentioned is now the Asian Art Museum)
